Best of all, activation events get customers into your store and entice them to share their experiences online. This exciting digital activation conveyed the wonder of the original exhibition using contemporary innovations and reminded us that the 21st century doesn’t have a monopoly on virtual reality and also that some aspects of digital activations are pretty straightforward – for example you can create your own stereoscopes by standing on one leg! Once the campaign launches, the work is hardly done.
As it stands today, digital activation and media management includes a lot of grunt work. The most common roadblock in creating a successful digital activation plan is resources.
